Merseyside Sports Partnership (MSP) is looking for a number of highly-motivated individuals to help achieve the Level 3 School Games mission of “keeping competitive sport at the heart of schools and providing more young people with the opportunity to compete and achieve their personal best” and also its vision that “by 2020, the School Games will be continuing to make a clear and meaningful difference to the lives of even more children and young people”.
MSP are currently recruiting independent advisors for a L3 School Games Operational Group to link with the current Children and Young Peoples Strategic Group.
This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your career, grow your network, and make a valuable contribution through professional development or through new-found free time. Or to simply put something back into the community here within the Liverpool City Region.
Successful applicants will play a key role in building upon what is currently a very strong and successful number of events and raising the profile of the importance of competitive sport for young people.
MSP is consciously looking to appoint a diverse group and is keen to hear from applicants across the full spectrum of the education sector, business community, local government, national governing bodies of sport, inclusive sports and the voluntary sector.
For an informal discussion or a Recruitment Pack, contact Calum Donnelly, Strategic Lead for Sport and Physical Activity (Children and Young People), on 0151 728 1814 or email c.donnelly@merseysidesport.com; or Kerry Stewart, Strategic Lead for Business Improvement, on 0151 728 1800 or email k.stewart@merseysidesport.com.
