Beechley Stables – Trustee

Beechley Stables is a registered charity based in Allerton Liverpool and a member of The Riding for the Disabled Association. Their aim is to provide recreation and therapy through riding to promote the health and wellbeing of disabled people.

What will you be doing?

They are looking for someone with accounting/booking experience to join their exciting new team as their Treasurer. As a not for profit charity it is essential the treasurer ensures the funds by means of income, donations and awarded Grants are managed and spent in the most effective way to support the day to day running and operational management of the stables.

What are they looking for?

Collaborative and team-focused, you will need to make balanced decisions on group finances that take into account multiple views and contribute in an open and inclusive way

Previous experience in finance, accountancy or bookkeeping is essential. Support will be offered by the RDA to ensure they comply with the charity commission regulations.

What difference will you make?

Beechley Stables is core to the Riding for the Disabled Community, As treasurer, you’ll be part of a small team of trustees and your role will help manage the finances, making sure they’re spent effectively for people affected by disability. Ensuring the Trustees are kept appraised each month on the current financial position.
