In 2020 we celebrated the year of Reading in Liverpool. This year, we are continuing our journey of celebrating all things literary and literacy, by marking 2021 as the Year of Writing. Anyone can get involved and there right now there’s a fantastic opportunity for local writers to get some free promotion.
There are lots of free resources available, as well as events and activities taking place and more will be added all the time.

Are you a writer based in Liverpool City Region? #LiverpoolWrites, 2021 Year of Writing, is putting together a directory of local freelance writers. They’d love to include anything you have to offer, including workshops, readings and other activities, and use that to promote writers to schools, colleges, universities, agents and publishers.
Submit your details to the Liverpool Year of Writing Directory and please spread the word to any local writers you know.
