Can Good Gym Volunteers Help Your Organisation?

GoodGym is a community of runners who get fit while doing good that launched in Liverpool at the end of March. Good Gym is looking for community organisations to help out. Do you have a task that needs people power? Good Gym runs in a group of 10-25 runners every Monday evening, stopping to undertake tasks half way, such as gardening, tidying and clearing, setting up for events and painting.

Do you run a project that needs our help? Good Gym can visit you on a Monday evening as part of the Group Run. The task can be anything physical that the volunteers can work on together for 30-45 minutes. Due to the location of the base, Good Gym is only able to help projects located within 5km of Hope Street at present.

The service is totally free and Good Gym is fully insured. If you think your task might be too big, you’d be surprised what can be achieved in a short time by the volunteers. Good Gym could also potentially help out at some projects on a regular basis, or over a series of a few weeks.

Find out more by reading Good Gym run reports from Fern Grove Community Garden and the Bombed Out Church.

To request help from Good Gym, contact trainer Char Binns on char@goodgym.org.

Run with Good Gym! New runners are welcome to volunteer with Good Gym. The group meets in the Hope Street Hotel every Monday, running at 6.30pm. You can sign-up to the next run on the website.
