Capacity: The Public Services Lab Vacancies

Development Manager

Location: Liverpool City Centre
Hours of work: 37.5 per week to be worked flexibly to meet the needs of the organisation
Effective from: Immediate
Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 (experience dependent)

Exciting opportunity for a Development Manager to support existing Accelerator and Incubator clients, identify new opportunities and scale up the programmes.

Capacity: The Public Services Lab is an exciting collaboration between Catch22, Interserve, Big Society Capital and Amberside Advisors. The idea behind Capacity is to create a space through which public services can be re-imagined.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a strong performance history in previous development roles with a track record of successful entrepreneurial activity and securing contract opportunities. We are looking for a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of how to address social problems in a fast changing landscape. The candidate must have exceptional problem solving skills, a sound understanding of public services and the ability to produce innovative businesses cases and work collaboratively with colleagues and external stakeholders.

Impact Manager

This is a unique opportunity for a creative and innovative Impact Manager to shape Capacity’s data and impact strategy.

Capacity: The Public Services Lab is an exciting collaboration between Catch22, Interserve, Big Society Capital and Amberside Advisors. The idea behind Capacity is to create a space through which public services can be re-imagined.

The successful candidate will not only be responsible for developing internal strategy and managing data collection and analysis, they will play an integral role in our wider Incubator and Accelerator programmes, designing client-facing toolkits and products as well as working alongside key stakeholders to design and mentor their impact management. We are looking for an analytical innovator, with a strong desire to impactfully change the way public services are commissioned, procured, designed and delivered. The candidate must be a problem solver with excellent communication skills – translating numbers into stories and communicating this effectively is key to this role.
