Development Manager
Salary: £35,000 – £45,000
Hours of work: 37.5
Capacity is looking to recruit an experienced and committed individual as Development Manager, supporting existing Accelerator and Incubator clients and identifying new opportunities to scale up the programme. As Development Manager, you will be able to demonstrate a strong performance history in previous development roles with a track record of successful entrepreneurial activity and securing contract opportunities.
You must be a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of how to address social problems in a fast changing landscape. The candidate must have exceptional writing skills, a sound understanding of public services and the ability to produce innovative businesses cases and work effectively with senior colleagues and external stakeholders.
Bid Writer
Salary: £25,000 – £30,000
Hours of work: 37.5
Capacity is looking for a Bid Writer to join our Development Team, playing a key role in securing a range of grant funding and contracts for Accelerator and Design clients.
You will support the Service Design Director and Business Development Managers with researching potential funding opportunities and preparing applications to a range of funders and investors, in order to secure support for a variety of projects. The Bid Writer will also be responsible for updating CRM databases with deadlines and tracking and co-ordinating applications.
The successful candidate should have a track record of securing funding from a range of organisations including Local Authorities, trusts and other grant making bodies. In addition, they should have excellent writing skills with the ability to produce concise and creative bids as well as a high standard of computer literacy (all Microsoft applications).
