CARA: Irish Communities Together Through Covid 19

Irish Community Care is working in partnership with Irish community groups across the North West, to launch an important new programme named CARA. The CARA programme will support Irish communities to stay safe, well and connected through Covid 19.

There are many members of these communities who may need a helping hand or a listening ear to get through the Covid 19 pandemic. Many are older, in poor health, live alone or live far from family and friends.

The Cara Programme needs your help

If you would like to get involved as a volunteer (this might mean picking up the phone for a chat or picking up groceries or a prescription) please follow this link to complete a short volunteer form.

If you or, someone you know, cannot leave home because of the coronavirus threat and need help because there is no-one locally who can provide support, please let the Cara team know by following this link to complete a request for support.
