Contract: Permanent.
Term: Part-Time, approximately 3 hours/ month.
Reporting to: Churches Together in the Merseyside Region Management Council and the Churches Together in the Merseyside Region Co-ordinator as appropriate.
Location: Working from home.
Churches Together in the Merseyside Region is an umbrella body to serve the churches in Merseyside on working together.
For this role, duties include paying invoices, reconciling ledger with bank statements, liaising with CTMR accountants over payroll issues and preparing financial documentation for accountants to complete annual accounts. In addition, the treasurer attends meetings of the CTMR Management Council which currently meets for a couple of hours three times each year.
The treasurer is responsible for sending invoices to the eight contributing denominations/dioceses each year, preparing budgets for the Management Council and monitoring and recording income and expenditure.
