Job Title: Directions Project Keyworker
Context: Citizens Advice Halton are seeking to recruit a Directions Project Keyworker to work on their Directions Project from Halton’s two offices (in Runcorn and Widnes).
The Directions project is a new multi-agency, Liverpool City Region wide partnership, funded by the European Social Fund (ESF) with the aim of increasing the employability of local people who are currently unemployed or economically inactive. Citizens Advice Halton will support eligible local people to: receive employability support; and gain sought after employment skills and experience through volunteering.
Working with the Directions project’s Training Officer to achieve the project’s overall aims and targets, the Directions Project Keyworker will also play a lead role on the provision of employability support to the project’s participants for Citizens Advice Halton, across Runcorn and Widnes.
You must be able to show that you have experience of delivering support through group work and 1-2-1 with participants, including the design and delivery of training and other support interventions, to increase the employability, confidence and goals of participants.
Location: Citizens Advice Halton – Widnes and Runcorn offices
Salary: £21,589 – £23, 836
Hours: 35 per week (Full time)
Leave: 25 days holiday per annum + bank holidays
