They give people the knowledge and the confidence they need to find their way forward – whoever they are, and whatever their problem. They are the leading provider of advice and advocacy services in Liverpool and have helped clients with over 106,000 issues in 2022/2023.
Job Details
The applicant should have:
- A sound working knowledge of third sector organisations in Liverpool
- Numerate and literate with at least three GCSE passes, including Maths and English Language. (Grades 9-4, A*-C) or equivalent qualifications/ experience
- At least 1 years’ experience of working in a busy office environment
- Good experience of using I.T office systems and resources
- Ability to assimilate and present data with accuracy and attention to detail
- Understanding of and commitment to the aims and principles of the Citizens Advice service and its equal opportunities policies
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to relate and work with a large variety of different people from different backgrounds
- Effective written and oral communication skills utilising IT systems, telephone and face to face
- Ability and willingness to work both on own initiative and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and develop skills and be flexible with service delivery.
