Location: Primarily Liverpool Civil and Family Court with some working across other Liverpool locations and from home.

Job Details

The Technical Debt Supervisor is responsible for supervising and managing the day-to-day operations of a Money Advice Team and delivering an accessible client focused debt casework service via face to face and telephone channels, which includes court representation. The Supervisor will ensure that the work of the Team meets service demand and Money and Pensions Service (MaPS) quality standards. To keep own knowledge and experience up to date by providing a quality legal representation service for a small number of clients facing court proceedings for housing and personal debt, including mortgages, secured and unsecured loans, who are not eligible for housing legal aid.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be confident, motivated and willing to try new things, have excellent communication skills with an ability to work under pressure to achieve targets and outcomes with minimum supervision.

You will need to have supervision experience and knowledge and experience of complex debt casework, and (county) court money claims, and possession proceedings as well as priority and non-priority debt advice, options and insolvency solutions.
