Universal Support – (Help to Claim Project) Reception/Assessor
Duration: fixed-term contract to 31 March 2020
Hours: 35 hours per week
Salary: £ 18,000 actual
Citizens Advice Liverpool is delivering an end-to-end claims support service which will be nationally consistent and provide high-quality advice for first time Universal Credit claimants. Universal Credit is our fastest growing advice issue and the evidence collected by the Citizens Advice network shows us people need more practical support to make and manage their Universal Credit claim. The “Help to Claim” service will guide people through the claims process – offering tailored support to help them use the flexibilities available in Universal Credit, helping them to get their first payment on time and making sure they’re ready to manage it when it arrives. There is a current opportunity for a reception/assessor to join the team.
We are looking for someone with excellent administrative skills, good communication and organisational skills, the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines as well as a commitment to the aims and principles of the Citizens Advice Service. The successful candidate will provide support for the Help to Claim team to deliver locally tailored delivery of digital, telephony and webchat support to Universal Credit Claimants.

Adviser – Advice on Prescription Project
Salary: £ 21,850 – Actual
Hours: 35 per week
Citizens Advice Liverpool is looking to recruit an advice caseworker, preferably with experience of welfare benefits, to work within its busy social prescribing team. Candidates applying for this post will have experience of working in an advice setting and be able to demonstrate current knowledge of the benefits system.

Administrator
TEMPORARY FOR 3 MONTHS to cover absence

Hours: 35 per week
Citizens Advice Liverpool is looking for an experienced administrator to join the existing administration team working across Citizens Advice Liverpool sites. The Administrator will play an integral role in the organisational strength of CAL.
They will provide administrative support to staff within Citizens Advice, to ensure the office is run effectively and that project staff receive full administrative support. Candidates should have at least 1 year’s experience of working in a busy office environment and have excellent written and verbal skills with a strong ability to multi-task.
