Running and Challenge Fundraiser
Hours per week: 37.5 hours
Salary: £18,000 – £22,000
Contract: Permanent
Based: Liverpool Fundraising Office or the Fundraising Centre, Claire House Children’s Hospice, Wirral
Claire House Children’s Hospice are looking for a Running and Challenge Fundraiser to join its busy and dynamic Events Team.
As a key member of the Fundraising Team, the post holder will have responsibility for the charity’s running and challenge strategy; developing and enhancing the calendar and increasing income incrementally over the coming years. The post holder will achieve growth not just in the development of activities, but also through the development of effective supporter care journeys that will engage supporters with the cause and ensure long term support is maintained.
The successful candidate will have responsibility for delivering a gross income target of £230,000 which will grow in line with the charity’s fundraising strategy and includes the following income streams; Running, Challenges, and Third Party Event Partnerships. This position requires the drive, enthusiasm and flexibility and will need an individual that can build effective relationships internally and externally in order to succeed.

Shop Manager
Hours per week: 35 hours
Salary: £15,000 – £18,000
Contract: Initially six months for maternity leave cover
The post holder will manage all aspects of Claire House’s charity shop in Hunts Cross. You will ensure adequate and appropriate staffing, stock and systems are in place, in order to maximise shop sales and profits. This will be done in a manner which reflects the ethos of Claire House.
