Composting project seeking participants

Social enterprise Compost Works is inviting community centres and local residents to take part in the Compost Is the Future project, which aims to raise awareness of food waste composting.

Are you part of a residents group, or just a group of neighbours, who would like to have a go at composting your food waste? If so, Compost Works can set up a compost system for you and provide support to help you and your fellow residents to run your communal compost efficiently.

The team is also running free Introduction to Composting training for Liverpool residents. Is your community centre interested in hosting these sessions for your service users? Or do you belong to a group of community gardeners who would like to learn about composting?

If you answered ‘yes’ to any of these questions, contact info@compostworks.co.uk or call 0781 6500 503 (9am-5pm) to discuss taking part in the project or book a training session.

This project is funded by the Liverpool City Region Metro Mayor Community Environment Fund.
