Consultation on Liverpool’s All-Age Carers Strategy

Deadline: Sunday 31 August 2025.

Liverpool City Council is refreshing their All-Age Carers Strategy and would like to hear the views of their residents and carers.

The strategy is a document of intent, setting out strategic priorities which will support organisational focus and commissioning intents over the next 5 years. It will align with Living Better Lives – the vision for Adult Social Care and contribute to the aims and objectives set out in the Council Plan and One Liverpool Strategy.

It will highlight their commitment to unpaid carers, setting out key priorities and clear actions which will ensure any support and future provision for carers enables positive outcomes for all.

The strategy will be co-produced with carers of all ages, with this consultation being one platform to contribute to the design and content of the document.

They would like to understand about how you – as someone who lives or works in Liverpool, and in particular carers – view the draft strategy, and if you feel it requires any changes. The survey asks a series of questions about your thoughts on the strategy, your caring role and the person you care for. This is to help them to better understand our population of carers.

If you are not a carer yourself but may work in services that have contact with carers in Liverpool (including council employees), are from one of their stakeholders and partner organisations, or are a resident of Liverpool who currently does not care for another person but has an interest in this issue, they still want to hear your views on this strategy.
