Coronavirus Community Support Fund

The Coronavirus Community Support Fund is now open!

Government has committed £200 million for small and medium sized charities and social enterprises. This funding will help maintain and enhance services for vulnerable people affected by the current crisis, where delivery organisations are experiencing income disruption and/or increased demand.

The money is being distributed by the National Lottery Community Fund, alongside its own funding.

What they can fund

Activities supporting people and communities affected by Covid-19. They can also help organisations overcome acute financial difficulties they’re facing because of the pandemic.

How much you can apply for and for how long

Grants of £300 – £10,000 or grants over £10,000, to cover your spending for up to six months.

Larger awards and longer timeframes will be considered on a case by case basis, particularly for organisations working across more than one area of England.

Government pledge of £750 million

This fund is part of the Government’s £750m financial support package for charities and social enterprises. We’ve set up a dedicated Government Covid-19 Funding page on the LCVS website, where you can find out more about that money and the other funds available as part of it.

Head to  the National Lottery Community Fund website to apply for the Coronavirus Community Support Fund.
