Crisis Skylight Vacancy: Receptionist

Salary £21,648 per annum

Hours: 35 hours per week; some evening and weekend work will be required

Crisis is the national charity for homeless people, dedicated to ending homelessness by delivering life-changing services and campaigning for change. Crisis Skylight, the award winning and accredited education, training and employment services, offer practical and creative workshops with formal learning opportunities that lead to qualifications and finding work. In Merseyside, Skylight services are delivered mainly on an outreach basis in existing homeless and community facilities.

Crisis Skylight reception is based in a new office location in the Ropewalks area of Liverpool.  This is a busy area where you will be dealing with Skylight members, homeless people seeking advice, staff, Crisis volunteers, visitors and a steady stream of deliveries. As you will be the first point of contact for many people, you need to be friendly, enjoy helping and be willing to learn about Crisis and the services we provide. You will also be expected to provide administration and housekeeping support relating to the facilities and customer service management led by our Skylight Coordinator.

To apply, visit CrisisNet under ‘Organisation’ or the Online Recruitment Portal.

The role involves working with vulnerable adults and young people and so a satisfactory enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service is required

Complete and submit your application on the portal by 11.59pm on Tuesday 15 November 2016.
