Design For All Support Programme | Get free experts time up to the value of £30k for building related projects

The Design For All support programme has been set up to provide 2 to 4 small charities and community organisations with professional expertise to get their building projects off the ground.

The support programme provides expert advice for building related projects which are in early development. This is often the hardest part of the project to find funding for. The support programme is available to charities, community groups and other organisations that make positive contributions to their community and believe in good design. It is available to all England based charities and community organisations with a turnover of less than £1 million.

  • Professional expertise from a range of disciplines and reasonable travel expenses
  • A share of £30,000 (based on £100/hr) worth of time split across 2 to 4 recipients
  • The support programme does not provided capital or cash.

Who is it for?

  • Small charities and community organisations (< £1 million turnover)
  • England based
  • Organisations with a specific building project in mind
  • Organisations with clear plan of future funding for capital costs.

About the team behind Design For All:

They are a team of built environment professionals including: architects, structural engineers, planning consultants, quantity surveyors, project managers and sustainability consultants. They believe in power of good design and that great spaces can facilitate communities. They see this in their projects and many other great spaces across the UK. They have often provided pro-bono work for organisations that don’t have the resources or need some initial help to access funding. However, this always comes through their  contacts and they want to make this more equitable and available to everyone.
