Employability Solutions | Platform for Change | Now Open for Applications

The Platform for Change legacy fund was launched in memory of three former students of Employability Solutions (ES); Brandon Regan (17), Daniel Jamieson (16) and Jamie Buckley (18), who tragically lost their lives.

The fund aims to award 3 grants of up to £1000 each year to a young person who will use the grant to promote the education, safety, or mental health of young people within their local communities The goal of the fund is to empower young people to make positive changes in their local community and create a safer community for all.

ES are asking that young people aged 14-24 years of age can apply for up to £1000 each round ( 3 rounds across the year) to work with other young people creating positive impactful projects and activities, focusing on positive narratives looking at what’s strong rather than what’s wrong.

The current funding round:

This award will focus on diversionary activities and group projects for young people in their local community. This award will look at creating safe spaces such as a holiday club for young people with additional needs, a youth forum within your local area, a sports group, or a music group. Anything that brings people together and creates a safe place for them.
