Do you have an idea for a project in Merseyside or Halton to help the people from your community get back into work? Could your organisation make a real difference with a grant of up to £25k?
Funding is available to support activities such as:
- Initial help with basic skills
- Taster work experience including voluntary work
- Training advice and guidance
- Job search assistance
- Confidence building and personal development
- First contact engagement activities
Activities should engage people out of work from at least some of these priority groups:
- People aged 50 and over
- People with disabilities and health conditions
- Single parents
- People from ethnic minorities
- Women
To be eligible for funding, your organisation must:
- Be a constituted voluntary, community, social enterprise organisation, based or operating in Merseyside or Halton
- Have been in existence for a minimum of 12 months, providing an annual report and published accounts
- Not exceed a maximum £500k turnover per year or 10 full time equivalent staff, whichever is the larger
