Tell Us What You Think: A Listening Event as part of the Liverpool City Region Year of the Environment
Saturday 28 September 2019
Crosby Lakeside Activity Centre
This interesting community engagement workshop is being held by the organisations behind Liverpool City Region Year of the Environment. The intention of the session to give a voice to green space campaigners in the area.
The meeting is one of a series of listening events being held across the region, to help communities connect with nature. It is a wonderful opportunity for you/your organisation to share your passion for our parks and green spaces, including our green belts, and to tell Steve Rotheram what you think about what is happening and what should happen to them!
Listening events will provide crucial material for a major conference happening on the 8th November and entitled Towards a Green Future. It is anticipated that Steve Rotheram will be declaring his aspirations for LCR’s environment at the conference, so now is the time to have your say in advance of that date.
In addition to the workshop, 28th September will provide guests with an opportunity to explore the lovely Crosby Coastal Park, an area adjacent to Crosby and Waterloo beach and the famous Iron Men installation.
