This event is a showing of the 1982 documentary – Alice A Fight for Life.
Whilst Merseyside Asbestos Victims Support Group (MAVSG) believe this event is not appropriate for patients with mesothelioma, you may be interested as it does tell the story of a 47-year-old woman’s fight for life after being exposed to asbestos by Cape Insulation.
In summary, Alice died from mesothelioma in 1982. The only other showing of this documentary is at Acre Mill in Yorkshire on the same evening and on the eve of the demonstrations at Rotherham and Warrington to demand that Cape donates £10 million to mesothelioma research to find a cure for mesothelioma.
Tickets are £1 payable at the door. Booking beforehand is essential as there are limited seats.
