Autism and Learning Disability and Human Rights

Tuesday 13 December 2016, 1.30 – 4.30pm – 151 Dale Street, Liverpool, L2 2AH.

If you live with autism or a learning disability, this event is for you to learn about your human rights. Family, other carers or your advocate are also welcome to come to the eventto support you.

You will learn about how human rights can be help you to have more control over your own life and be treated with dignity and respect. Your human right will be explained, when you are receiving  health and care services at your GP, in hospital, community care, care homes etc.

There will be breaks with drinks and snacks.

The event is organised by British Institute of Human Rights. The charity helps people know more about human rights at events and via booklets and information.
