Books and Brambles is a six-week outdoor adventure of exciting weekends filled with an hour and a half of great stories, mud, minibeasts, art and activities for children and their grown-ups to experience together.
Each week the group will be exploring different themes and connecting with Calderstones Park, home of The Reader Organisation, in unique ways. From muddy scavenger hunts to crafting your own stories – the Story Hunters will lead the group to explore nature through brilliant children’s books and your own imaginations. At the end of the 6-weeks, each child will receive a beautiful sew-on patch to celebrate completing the Books and Brambles course.

Sessions run on both Saturday and Sunday, with morning sessions from 10am – 11.30am and afternoon sessions from 2.30pm – 4pm.
