Call for Young People Aged 10-25 to Share Their Views on Health Issues

Event Date: 13 February 2023

Hosted by Beyond, Merseyside Youth Association and The Reporters’ Academy

Beyond, Merseyside Youth Association and The Reporters’ Academy are hosting an interactive workshop exploring:

  • Respiratory Conditions (including Asthma)
  • Epilepsy
  • Mental Health
  • Learning Disabilities, Difficulties and Autism
  • Healthy Weight & Obesity
  • Diabetes.

Why are they doing this?

At this workshop, they want to hear young people’s views on these health-related topics.

They’re hosting a conference in March, and they want these views and ideas to be shared with professionals to ensure their voices are listened to.

The Reporter’s Academy will be there to film and capture some of this feedback, but if young people don’t want to be on film, they can find creative ways to capture your feedback without you being on camera.

When are the workshops?

The workshops will take place during half-term in Liverpool and St Helens:

  • Liverpool, Monday 13 February 2023 from 10 am-12 pm, or 1 – 3 pm (at Merseyside Youth Association)
  • St Helens, Tuesday 14 February 2023 from 10 am – 12 pm, or 1 – 3 pm (at Totally Wicked Stadium).

There is now an online session as well as a session in Crewe which you can learn more about in the link below.
