Hosted by NYAS & Interchange | 14 February 2024 from 2:30 – 4 PM | SLSJ Events Space
For the past decade, students studying on the Interchange module have partnered with the National Youth Advocacy Service (NYAS) to champion the rights of children, young individuals, and adults throughout the UK.
These practical projects conducted in real-world settings have reshaped national discussions on crucial issues such as advocacy, protected characteristics, and safeguarding. Moreover, this collaborative effort has served as a springboard for participants’ future careers, providing them with practical skills, valuable experiences, and a network that propels them towards future success.
This talk offers a valuable chance to gain insights from their experienced guest speakers and discover the positive contributions they bring to the community but also to explore pathways for participating in Interchange projects and engaging in real-world research through the action-oriented research.
Registration is open to all students, academic staff and members of the VCO community.
