Would you like to find out more about being part of a team to welcome a Syrian family to Liverpool?

The Syrian refugee crisis has been ongoing since 2011. Some statistics:

• Over 5 million people have fled Syria, most seeking refuge in surrounding countries
• Over 6 million people are internally displaced in Syria
• Around 8,000 Syrians have been resettled in the UK so far

If you are interested, come to this information sharing evening. Nadine Daniel, the Church of England’s Refugee Welcome Coordinator will be speaking on the opportunity the government’s Community Sponsorship Scheme offers.
