Wednesday 18 October 2017 – Liverpool Town Hall, High Street, Liverpool, L2 3SW.
Diverse Magazine’s 2017 conference explores global best practices in diversity and inclusion, particularly in relation to supplier chain diversity, and will look at how embedding diversity and inclusion enables companies to compete in global markets.
The conference will provide a unique opportunity for exchange of learning from, and network with, international leading diversity and HR professionals. Global Heads, Directors and VP’s of Human Resources and Diversity along with board members of some of the world’s largest companies will be presenting alongside renowned authors, professors and experts to make up one of the most comprehensive agendas yet.
The underlying themes throughout the day of workshops, presentations and round-tables will explore how diversity can help organisations in business growth, innovation and talent management. Modules include:
- Leadership and diversity
- Inclusive leadership
- Diversity recruitment
- Generational diversity
- Diversity leadership metrics
- Supplier diversity
The conference will focus on how to deliver sustained tangible results in diversity and inclusion in an increasingly globalised environment. Leading experts will contribute a rich and diverse perspective of the international challenges and opportunities of providing an integrated, effective and efficient diversity and inclusion model “fit for purpose and fit for practice.” The 2017 conference aims to deliver a universally benchmarked framework that will build on the conference themes of 2014 “Business Growth and Competitive Advantage through effective Diversity and Inclusion”.
As well as hearing from world class diversity and HR experts the conference will allow delegates to network with fellow professionals from across the globe.
A very important feature of the conference will be a Business Opportunity Fair. This will consist of supplier diversity matchmaker and business to business (B2B) exhibition, focusing on the particular sector within the themed week of the conference (i.e. manufacturing sector). The supplier diversity matchmaker is specifically aimed at engaging diverse and small or medium-sized businesses into the supply and value chain of large multinational organisations.
