Hosted by Edge Hill University and the University of Liverpool | 23 November 2022 from 9:30 am to 12 noon | Room 4 in Rendall Building, the University of Liverpool
Edge Hill University and the University of Liverpool want to work together for sustainable communities across Merseyside and discover how we can support each other. Due to this, they are planning a roundtable to discuss how we can make Merseyside more sustainable. The aim of the roundtable is to bring community groups and politicians together so they can come to an initial plan and understanding of how they can work together to make Merseyside more sustainable both in terms of climate AND social resilience.
This is based on their previous research that shows that climate action, social justice, and a sense of community go hand in hand, and in order to strengthen either, they need to be tackled together. Which way may be the best ways forward, shall be discussed and agreed upon (hopefully) in the roundtable.

Edge Hill University and the University of Liverpool recently worked together on a research project on climate change, local communities, and local television which they hope to expand so it can serve the wider Merseyside community. Click here to read about the project.
