Since the UK has now left the European Union and the transition period has come to an end, the right to free movement no longer applies in the UK, and the way in which EU citizens resident in the UK can prove that they have the right to work here is going through a series of changes.
Citizens Advice Liverpool has noticed that there is much confusion, both for workers and employers, about how to check for the right to work and how to prove it.
As a result of this confusion there is a need for accurate information, so Citizens Advice Liverpool is delighted to have secured the services of Migrants at Work, who will provide two FREE information sessions.
The sessions will be be held online via Microsoft Teams:
Monday 29 March 2021
10:30am – 12:00noon
This session will give general information about how EU citizens can now prove their right to work in the UK and how this will evolve in the coming months, with the end of the grace period being on 30 June 2021. This session is suitable for a wide audience, such as employers, workers and support organisations.
