European Social Fund Community Grants Briefing

Event Date: 13 September 2016

Tuesday 13 September 2016, 10am-12pm – 151 Dale Street.

Do you have an idea for a project to help people from your community get back into work? Could your organisation make a real difference with a 100% grant of up to £35k? If so, then the European Social Fund (ESF) Community Grants could be for you.

The Workers Educational Association (WEA) administered grants are currently open for applications from voluntary organisations working in the Liverpool City Region. Applications must be submitted by 12noon on Monday 3 October 2016.

If you are thinking of applying for the fund or would like to know more about it, you are invited to attend an ESF Community Grants Briefing that has been organised by LCVS in conjunction with Network for Europe.

The briefing will include a presentation on the Community Grant programme by the Workers Educational Association, an overview of other European funding available and a question and answer session. We also plan to offer a limited number of mini-advice surgeries (10 minutes each) following the briefing and Q&A. Advice surgery slots will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

Priority for the event and advice surgeries will be given to Liverpool based organisations but if any places are remaining then they will be allocated to organisations from the wider Liverpool City Region.
