Participants are needed for feedback on a new wearable robotic exoskeleton which could help people with paralysis and weakness in their arms.
Do you have:
- A weak upper arm or paresis (muscular weakness) / paralysis in one or both arms
- A neurological condition
And are you:
- Able to attend focus groups at The Brain Charity
- Prepared to give your views on the design of a new robotic orthosis (exoskeleton)?
Dr Heba Lakany, a researcher at the University of Liverpool, has developed a working prototype for arm rehabilitation and assistance. It will be a device people can take home to support their recovery, empowering them to take control of their own rehabilitation.
The four sessions will have tea, coffee and biscuits.
