Following previous successful events in Bristol, Birmingham and London, Association of Chairs is bringing this joint event with the Charity Commission to Liverpool to share learning about the Chair’s role in ensuring good governance.
You will hear from David Holdsworth, Chief Operating Officer and Sarah Atkinson, Director of Policy and Communications at the Charity Commission, and from Association of Chairs’ Executive Director, Ros Oakley.
The session will be an opportunity for Chairs to gain insight into governance opportunities and risks; to discuss chairing challenges with the Charity Commission and to learn from one another.
This will be an interactive session, built around a case study with time for questions, discussion and networking. Charity Commission staff will be in attendance.
The event is open to all Chairs and Vice Chairs, though priority for places is given to Association of Chairs members.
