Extreme Right-Wing Awareness Training

Event Date: 26 November 2024

Hosted by Liverpool PREVENT Team & Small Steps | Various Dates

There will be three sessions delivered for the city region:

  • Two in-person sessions will take place on 26 November at the Partnership for Learning, South Road, Speke, from 10 AM – 12 PM, and from 1 to 3 PM. The Partnership for Learning Centre is part of the Jaguar Landrover Experience in Halewood and can be accessed from Speke Boulevard.
  • An online session will take place on 27 November from 1 to 3 PM.

This session is designed to support Community Organisations understand the Extreme Right-Wing (ERW).

Sessions are provided by Small Steps, they can provide honest information because most of their staff have been there. Their team were once members of the extreme right-wing or had a family member involved, so they are aware what involvement is like and the impact it can have.

Small Steps seek to upskill people so that following the training, participants both understand what the ERW is, but also how to reduce it.

If you would like to book a place please contact Deborah Hall-Wood on Deborah.Hall-Wood@liverpool.gov.uk.

More information on Small Steps and the training is available on their website.
