Get to know Boccia – ‘the most inclusive sport around’

The Greenbank Giants Boccia Club invites you to go and join them and “Get to know Boccia” at their FREE community boccia session!

Thanks to the support of the LCVS Community Impact Fund they can continue to offer free weekly Community Boccia sessions at Greenbank Sports Academy. To celebrate this partnership, they are holding a special session to introduce the sport of Boccia to those who are not familiar with this fantastic game, or who are wanting to get back playing Boccia.

Boccia is a Paralympic sport that is truly accessible to all. Disabled and non-disabled players, young and not so young, can compete together or against each other on an equal basis.

Boccia (pronounced Bot-Cha) is a target ball game that is easy to play. You can throw, kick, roll, push your ball into the action. It can be played individually or as a team.

So, go join them and have a go!
