100 young people from across Europe have been involved in a project exploring identity strategies in multicultural societies and they have produced short videos to showcase the results of their research.
The aim of this conference is to:
- Learn about young people living in multicultural societies
- Share research results and methodologies
- Create and expand innovative networks
- Strengthen the capacity of youth services
The conference is for youth centres and youth workers, organisations and professionals working in multicultural contexts, universities, students, local policy-makers and young people.

- Dr. Zana Vathi, Reader in Social Sciences, Edge Hill University
- Anna Bellan, MA in Sociology, Progr. Manager, Merseyside Expanding Horizons
The young people involved have been trained in video making. Their short videos will be introduced by Tristan Brady-Jacobs, film/multi-media tutor.
Lunch on arrival and networking with coffee at 4pm, provided by Merseyside Expanding Horizons.
