Leap Day Research Collaboration Café for the VCFSE Sector

Event Date: 29 February 2024

Hosted by CoREN, ARC NWC & Interchange | Thursday 29 February 2024 from 10 AM – 1 PM | Liverpool Central Library

2024 is giving us a whole extra 24 hours on the 29 February! Normal rules don’t apply on this day, celebrated as the time to ask those questions we usually don’t dare to ask and step beyond our usual boundaries. They would love you to spend this bonus day with us at the Leap Day Research Collaboration Café.

This opportunity will bring together the VCSFE sector across Liverpool City Region with Academic Researchers, exploring in a practical action focussed session the benefits of working with each other. Brought to you by the Community Research and Engagement Network (CoREN), ARC NWC and Interchange, this is an opportunity to give yourself or your group time to reflect on how working with an Academic Researcher (and each other) might support you to achieve your goals. They are hoping that this will be the first of a number of sessions which will ultimately be informed by the people who attend it.

They want this to be an event that leads to action & is useful to the people who attend. Ideally, they would like to see some collaborative research projects emerge from this event.

If you are interested and would like to know more then please don’t hesitate to contact us via c.selby@lancaster.ac.uk to find out more.

You can sign up for the session by following this link and they will be in touch with more information.

All this will be delivered in a fun creative way, over lunch, on 29 February, claimed to be one of the luckiest days of the year!

Who should attend?

Any one working in the local community and VCSFE sector with an interest in developing partnerships with the Academic Researchers and how this may benefit their organisation/projects.
