LightNight Liverpool

Event Date: 18 May 2018

Friday 18 May 2018, 5pm until late – Venues across Liverpool city centre.

LightNight Liverpool is back and, as usual, there is plenty for all the family to enjoy. From puppetry, street theatre, samba, video games and dreams about the future – across all areas of the city centre.

The full programme is released on 1 May and is available for pre-order at lightnightliverpool.co.uk. The guide costs £4, including postage.

This year, the World Museum will be open late on LightNight for the very first time, inviting families to explore their free collections, from Egyptian mummies to casts of dinosaur bones and treasures from around the world.

If you would like to be part of LightNight and gain experience in working in the arts, there are volunteering opportunities across these areas on the night:

  • Selling LightNight festival guides and merchandise as part of venue welcome teams
  • Filling in audience surveys with members of the public
  • Helping out with specific LightNight events

For more information about these areas and the responsibilities involved, read the full volunteer brief here.

The deadline for applications is midnight on 16 April 2018.
