Liverpool City Region Combined Authority – Community Environment Fund Webinar

Event Date: 06 April 2022

Hosted by the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority | Wednesday 6 April 2022 | 5 – 6 pm | Online on Microsoft Teams

A £500,000 fund that brought wildflowers, bees, upcycling, food planting and climate awareness to communities across the Liverpool City Region is back for 2022!

Metro Mayor Steve Rotheram’s Community Environment Fund supported 58 schemes last year. Projects which were delivered between March and September included composting, the creation of an edible wall, work to restore habitats, climate education and the creation of a garden to help elderly people with physical and mental health issues.

They will be running a webinar for organisations interested in applying to this fund.

Applications for Phase II funding is now open. Grants are available for high impact community environment projects throughout the city region. This year grants will be available for smaller projects of up to £5,000, with up to £30,000 available for larger projects. The closing date for applications will be Monday 9 May 2022.

For more information about the fund and how to join the webinar, please visit the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority website.
