Liverpool Dementia Information Day

Event Date: 14 March 2024

Hosted by Liverpool Dementia Action Alliance | 10 AM – 5 PM on Thursday 14 March 2024 | Liverpool Central Library, William Brown Street, Liverpool L3 8EW

This is a major collaboration event offering information and advice about dementia, support and wellbeing services. Over 30 member organisations are providing exhibition stalls covering every aspect of living with dementia.

One of the most difficult things about dementia is getting clear information about the condition and then finding out what support is available. To help pass on advice and guidance for anyone with any interest in dementia there’s a free drop-in Dementia Information Day.

Plus there’s a varied programme of presentations by key personnel in provision of dementia services, including Anne Marie Lubanski, Director of Social Care and Health, Liverpool City Council. And there will also be activities such as Dementia Friends awareness sessions, a Dementia Inequalities Board Game demonstration plus dance, singing and exercise performances.

This is a great showcase of the excellent services and activities in and around Liverpool for people living with dementia and family carers. It will be valuable to anyone with a personal or a professional interest in the condition, or just wanting to know a bit more about dementia.

They’re really pleased so many public, private and community organisations are taking part as well as people affected by dementia themselves.

Liverpool Dementia Information Day is being supported by generous donations from Alzheimer’s Society, St John’s Market, Liverpool Business Improvement District and with assistance from Liverpool City Council Libraries Service.
