Liverpool Forest School Launch

Event Date: 05 July 2017

Wednesday 5 July 2017, 1-3pm – Everton Park Nature Garden, 29 Langrove Street, Liverpool, L5 3PE.

The Wildlife Trust is passionate about getting children from towns and cities back in touch with their wilder side. Forest Schools has already been successful in creating outdoor classrooms for children, teachers and parents in Manchester – and is now expanding into Liverpool, thanks to players of the People’s Postcode Lottery.

Join in to celebrate the beginning of this exciting project which promotes the discovery of natural and biological systems, the creation and safe usage of bushcraft tools, and respecting all wildlife and habitats on the doorstep of children in Liverpool.

The day will consist of a carousel of Forest School activities run by Lancashire Wildlife Trust Forest School Practitioners, with four local schools involved in the project attending. The newly installed Forest School outdoor educational facilities will be showcased on the site, as well as networking with other local community groups and organisations involved in the project.

If you would like to attend, contact Emma Ackerley on 0780 915 7934 or email eackerley@lancswt.org.uk.
