Liverpool Memory Walk

Event Date: 04 September 2016

Sunday 4 September 2016, 9am (walk starts 10am) – from front lawn of Croxteth Hall, Liverpool, L12 0HB.

With every step taken, you will help change the lives of people affected by dementia – now and in the future. Register yourself or a team, and start fundraising today.

Liverpool Memory Walk takes place at the beautiful Croxteth Country Park, a 500 acre former estate and ancestral home of the Molyneux family, the Earls of Sefton, before it passed to the council in 1972. It houses a real working Home Farm, a Victoria Walled Garden and a nature reserve.

There are two routes available. The short route (2km) travels by the lake located the inner area of the park on tarmac paths – this route is suitable for wheelchairs. The long route (6km) winds through pretty Mull Wood, travelling out past the riding school in a loop around Ten Acres Clump before returning back to the front lawn of the Hall. This route contains rough woodland paths and is not suitable for wheel chairs. Both routes are subject to change.

Registration will close Thursday 1st September 2016 and you will not be able to register at the event. So sign up now and get your team members to do so too!
