Hosted by Kinship Carers Liverpool | Thursday 10 October 2024 from 10 AM – 12 PM | Ellergreen Community Centre, 10 Ellergreen Road, L11 2RY
Kinship Carers Liverpool would like to invite professionals along to their National Kinship Carers Week Information event which is running alongside their weekly programme of exciting activities. Initiated by their project here in Liverpool, their event is in its 9th year and is now a national celebration of the hard work and dedication their carers show to their Kinkids.
Throughout the week, they will be showcasing their work with events such as:
- Flashmob in Liverpool City Centre
- Celebration coffee mornings
- Young person party
- Their wonderful high tea.
It’s more than likely that any community-based organisation will have or have had Kinship families amongst its service users at some point. They invite you to an interactive information session at which you will hear all about their families and their caring journeys, and about the work Kinship Carers does to support them.
There will be a presentation, followed by a Q&A session led by Kinship Carers Liverpool team. Refreshments will be served.
Please come along, meet the team and help support their families on their kinship journeys.
