Produced by Merseyside Youth Association’s RAISE Mental Health Promotion Team working in partnership with the Merseyside Violence Prevention Partnership and Cheshire and Merseyside NHS, NOW Festival 2023 will provide a platform for young people to talk about issues that affect them in relation to mental health and violence prevention. They’ll be sharing their thoughts on changes they’d like to see in relation to these issues.

Themes covered each night include:

Tuesday: Knife crime, domestic violence, NSPCC Speak Out campaign, racism, homophobia and bullying.

Wednesday: Physical assault, bullying, bystander effect, violence against women and girls, factors influencing violence and recovery from trauma.

Thursday: Child criminal exploitation from a female perspective, grooming, exploitation, bullying, silence fuels violence, violence associated with neurodevelopmental conditions, peace, unity and love.

Each night will also include guest acts and speakers, along with an awards ceremony and finale piece!
