Yvonne Reddick is the author of Ted Hughes: Environmentalist and Ecopoet and Translating Mountains, which was selected as a favourite pamphlet of 2017 in the Times Literary Supplement. She has received a Northern Writer’s Award, the Poetry Society’s inaugural Peggy Poole Award and a commendation in the 2018 National Poetry Competition. Her new pamphlet Spikenard is a Laureate’s Choice. She lectures in English Literature and Creative Writing at the University of Central Lancashire.

Deryn Rees-Jones is a poet and critic. She teaches literature at the University of Liverpool and is editor of the Pavilion Poetry series for Liverpool University Press. Her new book of poems, Erato, will be published in June, and a study of the work of the artist Paula Rego is out from Thames & Hudson in Autumn 2019. ‘What It’s Like to Be Alive: Selected Poems’ (2016) was a Poetry Book Society Special Commendation.
