Personal health budgets are one way to give people with long-term health conditions and disabilities more choice and control over the money spent on meeting their health and wellbeing needs, and can be used for a range of things to meet agreed health and wellbeing outcomes.
LCVS is facilitating a meeting to discuss personal health budgets and how the sector can contribute to helping people benefit from this new approach, which aims to help meet the health care needs of the community.
Initial discussions have been about wheelchair users but we welcome different perspectives to help inform developments in this area.
If you would like to attend, contact Paula Atherton at paula.atherton@lcvs.org.uk or call 0151 227 5177, ext. 3222.
