Saturday 30 June 2018, 10am-1pm – Anfield Sports & Community Centre, Breckside Park, Lower Breck Road, Liverpool, L6 0AG.
Liverpool County FA is pleased to announce details of the first-ever Race for Life women’s beginner football festival. This is about women uniting in aid of one key goal – to come together, play football, raise money – to beat cancer. The format is 5-a-side, and a maximum of 12 teams will be able to take part.
Liverpool FA would like to invite all women to join the fun-filled festival of football, designed especially for ladies keen to give football a go for the first time and raise money for Cancer Research UK.
Anyone can get involved:
- No age barrier
- Teams and individuals are welcome – if you don’t have a team, the organisers can help you find one
- Mums, sisters, aunties, friends – it doesn’t matter
- Football mums who watch their children play and want to try it out for themselves
- Women who used to play and are looking to get back into it
Cost: £30 per-team – all profits are to be donated to Cancer Research UK
To register a team, email Anna Farrell at anna.farrell@liverpoolfa.com.
