Friday 14 June 2024 | You can either sign up for the morning session (9 AM registration, 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM session) or the afternoon session (1:30 PM registration, 2 – 5 PM session)
The ReCITE Engagement Event is a half-day event, which will be repeated twice over the course of the day. A networking lunch will be available between 12.30 to 2 PM and is an opportunity to meet other likeminded people.
Join them at The Florrie to learn more about ReCITE, how you can get involved with the project, and network with health, community and creative organisations from the Liverpool, Sefton and Knowsley regions.
ReCITE utilises a community-led creative health approach using the power of storytelling to tackle avoidable and unfair differences in health. This engagement event will provide you with information about how you can get involved in these interventions as a community, health, or creative organisation.
Learn about the funding available for community-based teams, funding for creatives, training opportunities for individuals, and opportunities to become involved with advocacy or as a co-researcher. The programme will be engaging and dynamic, consisting of a mixture of presentations, exhibits and interactive sessions.
Objectives:
- To share learning on their community-led, creative health approach to tackling avoidable and unfair differences in health
- To present local data on inequity hotspots and priority areas
- To introduce ReCITE and describe the benefits of getting involved in the programme
- To clarify the application process for community innovation team (CIT) funding
- To meet other individuals, organisations, and stakeholders with an active interest in joint collaboration.
