This is an international conference exploring how theatre can contribute to radical social and political change in the 21st Century.
Activists, artists, academics, students and anyone concerned about political and social change are invited to join us to experience, discuss and enjoy some of the most outstanding performance activists from America, Canada, Chilie, Germany, Australia, India, Mexico, South Africa and the UK.
Keynotes:
- John Holloway has published widely on Marxist theory, on the Zapatista movement and on the new forms of anti-capitalist struggle
- Jan Cohen-Cruz is senior editor and co-founder of Public: A Journal of Imagining America: Artists and Scholars in Public Life, a national consortium of some 100 colleges and universities committed to campus-community partnerships
