This event brings together people from across the Archdiocese and City Region who have an interest in social action and partnership working.
This partnership event is between Nugent, Justice and Peace Commission & Liverpool Archdiocese and brings together policy makers, workers and volunteers involved in social action, to interlink themes, make partnerships, and advocate for change. There are three themes:
- Asylum and Refugees: What is the current situation – practically and politically
- Cost of living: What needs to change, and preparing for next winter
- Environment: How can we reduce carbon emissions and make our places of work and worship sustainable.
Who is it for?
- Workers/volunteers who can share experiences and services with others
- Those involved in a project needing to develop next steps
- Agencies wanting to create better impact through partnership working.
How will it run?
- Series of short key note talks, followed by round table discussions.
- Practical hands on workshops, on issues such as: how to set up a food bank; to how faith groups can play a role in the city region planning.

- Dr Naomi Maynard, Good Food Programme Director
- Dr Emma Gardner, Head of Environment, Office of the Chief Operating Officer, Diocese of Salford
- Frank Cottrell-Boyce, author and storyteller.
